This Privacy Policy describes how IRL LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company ("IRL Bonded," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website (www.irlbonded.com), our iOS application, and our related bonded-connection live streaming services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: Name, email address, username, and password (or authentication credentials via Sign in with Apple or similar) when you create an account.
• Payment Information: When you purchase credits or a plan, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not directly collect or store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details — Stripe collects this information directly. We do receive limited billing information such as your name, billing address, transaction amounts, and payment status.
• Communications: Information you provide when you contact support (support@irlbonded.com), submit feedback, or participate in the Alpha program.
• Third-Party Platform Connections: When you connect the Service to third-party streaming platforms (e.g., Twitch, Kick, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook) to enable multistreaming, we receive authentication tokens and limited profile/channel information from those platforms as authorized by you through OAuth or similar protocols.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Connection & Network Data: Cellular signal strength, connection type, bonded-connection performance metrics, bitrate, dropped packet and recovery statistics, and similar diagnostic data necessary to operate the bonding and smart-recovery features of the Service.
• Usage Data: Stream duration, stream start/stop events, platforms selected for multistreaming, feature usage, app interactions, crash logs, and performance data.
• Approximate Location Data: General location (e.g., derived from IP address or cellular network) may be collected to select the nearest cloud relay server and to optimize stream routing. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you separately grant location permission for a specific feature, and we will describe that at the time permission is requested.
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve www.irlbonded.com.

1.3 Stream Content

The Service relays your live video and audio stream data from your device(s) to your selected destination platform(s) and/or your self-hosted receiver. Where the Service uses our cloud relay infrastructure, stream data passes through our servers in order to bond, recover, and forward the stream. We do not intentionally record, store, or retain the substantive contents of your video/audio stream beyond the transient period necessary for real-time relay, except as described in Section 1.4 or where you explicitly enable a recording/VOD feature we may offer.

1.4 Diagnostic Recordings

We may temporarily retain short diagnostic segments or logs of stream sessions solely for the purposes of troubleshooting connectivity issues, improving the Smart Recovery protocol, and providing customer support, and we delete such segments on a rolling basis consistent with our data retention practices.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including bonding multiple cellular connections, packet recovery, multistreaming, and server routing;
• Create and manage your account;
• Process payments and manage your usage-based billing through Stripe;
• Route your stream to the nearest or best-performing cloud/self-hosted server;
• Authenticate and maintain your connections to third-party streaming platforms;
• Monitor, analyze, and improve stream reliability, performance, and quality;
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, service updates, and support requests;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• Comply with legal obligations; and
• With your consent, send marketing communications (which you may opt out of at any time).

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information as follows:

• Service Providers: With vendors who perform services on our behalf, including Stripe (payment processing), cloud infrastructure providers (server hosting and relay), analytics providers, and customer support tools — solely to the extent necessary for them to perform their functions.
• Third-Party Streaming Platforms: With platforms you explicitly choose to connect and stream to (e.g., Twitch, Kick, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook), limited to the data necessary to authenticate and publish your stream.
• Legal Requirements: Where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of IRL Bonded, our users, or others.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With Your Consent: For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information or with your consent.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Diagnostic and connection logs are generally retained for a limited rolling period before deletion or anonymization, except where longer retention is required for legal, security, or billing purposes.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

California Residents: You may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of certain data sharing. We do not sell personal information.

European/UK Residents: Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your information, our legal bases for processing include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is operated from the United States, and our cloud infrastructure may route data through servers located in various regions to optimize stream performance. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries with data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will delete that information.

9. Third-Party Links and Platforms

The Service allows you to connect to and stream on third-party platforms (Twitch, Kick, YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
